DÉSIRÉE
The award winning Dutch Diva Désirée Regina was born in Van Gogh's home town. At the age of 7 she was already singing her mini arias on the Town Hall steps determined to become a great singer.
Recognized as Holland's Mesmerizing Diva, Désirée has enriched the world of classical music with her appearances in opera, concerts, festivals, TV and radio.
She completed a Bachelor of Music, followed by a Master of Music (Honours) and a Master of Opera.
She performed professionally as a principal singer with many international companies from Opera Zuid, Cantus Frimus (France) to Opera Holland and the Sydney Opera House.
Désirée also toured Europe extensively In the opera Carmen and starred for several years in Andrew Lloyd Webber's official production of Phantom of the Opera.
She is also one of the Royal Duelling Sopranos, developing a penchant for comedy.
